Drivers from across Georgia have been sending in their receipts showing Uber and Lyft taking close to or over 50% of their fare on numerous rides.

Rideshare Drivers United Georgia estimates that on 1/3 of all rides, the driver receives less than 50% of their fare.

“We find this completely unacceptable and call on both companies to change their model to ensure that a driver that does all of the physical aspect of the job receives a substantial majority of the earnings on every ride,” said Austin Gates, Executive Director.
